Problems with sshd / copSSH

I recently upgraded my ssh server (I use copssh) and noticed in eventvwr the following error:

process sshd: error: fork: Resource temporarily unavailable.

After googling I didn’t find the solution to this problem. I would try to connect to my sshd server from any client and get disconnected immediately. Next i looked in c:\program files\copssh at the sshd-stderr.log and found the error:

recreate_mmaps_after_fork_failed over and over again. The problem had to do with DLL’s not being initialized properly when sshd was starting up. To fix that I had to select the Rebase menu option in the copSSH program group in the windows menu panel. This appears to repair the DLL issue and all seems good now.
