What we need

My family and I listened to, no experienced, a message from Leornard Ravenhill titled “Hell, no exits”. It was just a continuation of what is doing in this family, namely stamping the word “eternity” on our eyes. Afterwards, my wife and I had a discussion about a number of people we long to see saved from sin and delivered into Grace, that they may bring Glory to God. We began to feel a sense of desperation and also defeat at the prospect of what might await these souls, but a very prcious verse came into my heart which changed the whole atmosphere:

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

There are promises and conditions on those promises. If we are faithful to hold our end of the conditions, He is faithful to hear us and to part the red sea if need be! O how vast the consequences of what we do with this “Time” that we have here. There is no time in eternity! In one way the time we have right NOW is more important than the time we have in eternity. There will be no soul saving, repentance, etc. Those words may be dropped out of our vocabulary? O my dear friends, if you read this and don’t have a clue what I am talking about, call out to Jesus for help, to save you from who you are. If you do know what I am talking about, please don’t waste a second, for eternity’s sake, for Christ’s sake, for that soul’s sake!

If My people… then will I…

Love:

Mark
